My Eris 4.5 started to make a high pitched noise just after turning on (after beeing off for some hours) which lasts for some seconds and then suddenly stops and the speakers start to work normally. Starting this week the blue power light does not even turn on after activting the switch, and only after a minute or so the speakers start making the noise and the blue light is activated and then the speakers start to work.
Are my speakers dying? Anyone of you having similar issues?

Hi and welcome to this forum :)

That sounds like perhaps a poor solder joint in the power supply. Or it could be the SMPS driver IC going south. Either way it's repairable but have that done ASAP, before components start to fail permanently.
