Discuss the new PreSonus CS18Ai

Hi,
yesterday i get my new Presonus AVB-Switch from Thomann... And now?? The AVB connection wetween RM32ai and CS18ai works- with direct connection. The Headphone works on cs18ai, the Talkback may be a later Problem..... If i put the Presonus AVB-Switch between them, there is no sound!!???? HÄLP!!!!! thanks, holgi |

Seems to be a new Buck in the informationchain from Presonus..... https://support.presonus.com/hc/en-us/articles/210194293-Supported-AVB-network-switches The SW5E is in first position.......?? Which switch would Presonus like in between? This is the second Switch i tryed..... I only want to realize the network from the cs18ai manual.... reg. holgi |

Thanks for the link showing the SW5E has been tested and confirmed to work with the StudioLive AI for connection of mixers Over AI Stagebox Modes and Cascade RM Mix systems!

Sorry, I'm experienced with all the SIII products but don't have the RM32ai and CS18ai.

I´ve to make a Firmware update- ok... The RM32ai was connecting to Presonus--> I´m up to date? The Versionnumber is different to the Versionnumber at the Downloadsite...? Updating via USB-Stick--> works SC18ai is realy up to date... Checking with direct Cable--> Sound restart--/ Checking with SW5E --> No Sound BUT Starting direct wiered -works, than plugging into SW5E- WORKS!! ...about half an hour or one.. ..then the microsleep begins- ||:Half a second of sound, half a second of silence:||..--> ∞ Contrary to Presonus' opinion, Cat5e Cable would be ok,- they are not!! Cat6!! Georg Thiel von Thomann wusste das!- Danke Georg It will be enough for a sound check, but it is not a solution!! |

For everyone who is still searching for a solution, I figured out that you should not download the latest release of the SW5E Firmware. I'm now using the latest release* of the CS18AI and RM32AI firmware, but for the SW5E I'm using the v1.0.0.15447 release.
I've got the network settings on Dynamic for the RM32AI and the CS18AI. Frimware versions:
