1st - So I verified what you and Tacman7 saw. Same condition, as Mute overwrites Touch mode. I also checked that this condition occurs right on the mute button itself on the mixer by switching it with both mouse, and controller.

2nd - I then tested a general on/off condition with Touch Mode by adding a Hammond B3 organ while switching the leslie rotary switch. Here, Latch mode worked as it should. Going back over switched automation in both on and off states did not overwrite unless I switched those positions by hand, mouse, or controller.

Condition - As it looks, Mute while in touch mode does not work as expected (I'm using v 6.2). As you do, I think this should be addressed.

3rd test (to be done). I'd like to check an older version of Studio One such as version 2 or some older version today. Let's see if the mute condition using Touch mode works.

This will tell us if it's always been this way, or something has changed.

There is the possibility that Mute purposely overrides the Touch condition, but I can't say that's the case, but at least we'll have a better understanding of this. If so, then the manual should state this is the case. For all I don't know, it might.
