Hi, I'm a new Studio One Professional user. I come from SONAR. So far I'm extremely impressed with Studio One. I did run into a little snag initially and contacted support. I had my answer from Brian within a day.
I couldn't figure out how to set a Key Signature for a Song project. Specifically, for MIDI. I transcribe a lot of music. I then create MIDI files and port into Sibelius for sheet music printing and PDF creation for other musicians to perform. I hope this tip will help someone else... 1. Create a song in Studio One and add an instrument track. Track>Add Tracks 2. Drag your desired instrument from the right-hand side of the screen into your newly created track. 3. Go to View>Editor or press F2 to open the piano roll MIDI view. 4. Underneath the title of your score in the editor, you will see the word "Scale." This is where you can change the key. Thank you, Brian. |
Really... wow... nice That sounds easier and cleaner!
I've always used Melodyne, then drag the notes up and down for the key change.
