So I had to get a new interface and just decided to go with the 1810 because of the 4 analog inputs that go direct to the AD converter. I was able to save about $100 by finding the older "non-c" model from Amazon. Brand new, sealed box. Seeing as how the only difference is the connector and cosmetics, these are a fantastic bargain IMO.

Liking it so far. Has slightly better latency than the TASCAM 16x08 it is replacing but the drivers are much more stable.

Once I figured out the whole "phones 2" thing to get that output working, I think I will be happy with it for a while, especially at only $249 vs $355 for the 1810c and I can add 8 more preamps via ADAT if I need to in the future.

You'll know you're an old rock-n-roller when the only spandex in your pants is in the elastic waistband. :D
