Hi guys,
I recorded this track with my 12 string acoustic. I have a Dimarzio soundhole pickup and a dimarzio peizo pickup going stereo directly into Studio 192 mobile and into Studio one Daw.
Any opinions?
Cheers,
Bonwana

I like your playing. The sound could be better for a 12 string.
The drums are so compressed that it takes away from the guitar.
Too squished.
The guitars should be much fuller sounding for a 12 string.
Maybe too much compression and not enough low end?

I agree with Bbd on this one. The drums don't sound "real" and don't really blend well with the guitar IMO. I think if you use a decent mic' in front of the guitar you may get a fuller sound from the guitar as well.

Place the mic' more towards the sound hole for a fuller thicker tone or more towards the neck if your looking for a thinner tone.
