Hi, New Presonus user here, and so far not a happy experience.
I bought a new Studiolive AR12 yesterday.
I understood it was a class compliant device on MAC OSX but on plugging it in it does not appear in my list of audio devices.
The only guide I can find on the Presonus website indicates that I should just plug in the AR12 and see it appear in my Sound devices in system preferences, well it ain't there!
I've installed the latest version of Universal Control, on opening this no devices are listed.
I've tested the USB port and cable by plugging in my Focusrite Scarlett using the same cable. That appears immediately.
I can play sound through channels 13/14 by plugging my phone into the inputs on this channel, so it will operate as a mixer.
Am I missing something?
I'm on the verge of packing the thing back in the box and returning it for a refund.

Still no joy I’m afraid but I have now checked my pc using another AR22, which proved the PC was fine, and tried my AR12 on the PC that was linked to the AR22, which also couldn’t see my AR12.
Have concluded that my desk is not sending USB signal and have contacted the local Presonus dealer. Currently waiting on details of how to return it for replacement.
