Hi there
I use Wirecast as a software to stream video and audio. I have selected Studio Live as the input source, but levels in Wirecast are too low.
Is there any way to boost the USB signal coming out from the board to the Mac for wirecast to pick up a decent level?
thanks

If the "USB signal coming out from the board" refers to a single channel, there are three ways to increase level:

1) Pre-Amp Gain (0 dB to 60 dB)
2) Digital Send Option set to "Post" (post processing)
3) Using Make-up Gain in compressor (0 db to 28 dB); the compressor needs to be activated.

If "USB signal coming out from the board" means a flex mix or one of the four fixed subgroups, you have the input faders and the output fader, including processing on inputs and outputs. Setting mixes to pre-fade (Pre1 or Pre 2 instead of Post) can also help to increase level, because this makes a mix independ from the levels set in Main mix.

You need to check all steps from input to output and follow your the path of your signal(s). Most of the "Gain" range has its resource directly at the inputs. A good input level means that the green LEDs up to -6 dB on the scale in UC Surface can be seen and a little bit of the yellow LEDs up to -3 dB.
