My band Hitherside has a new album coming up.
We released the video for the title track today. The song and album are called 'Blue Lotus'.
The recording and mixing was entirely done with Studio1 V4 by yours truly.
The video was shot and edited by myself and Jennifer.
Watch in 4k if possible because the youtube compression is horrible.
Always eager to hear you guys comments!
That's a good video and song. Nice job!
I really like how the song changes up a lot. Killer guitar tones. What amps did you use?
Good luck with he new album

I am absolutely not a fan of metal (which I assume this genre is tagged as) but this .. well this is just absolutely sublime!
Great song, great performers, classy video and really sweet sound .. love it!

Thank you so much!
Guitars and bass are recorded directly through AxeFXII original. No amps were used.

We're not sure ourselves what to call it. The guitar is in drop A tuning and distorted, so I suppose that would make it metal
Thanks a lot for the compliments! Really appreciated.
Great great job!
I've liked you guys (and gal) ever since I first heard you. This production, song and video is really good.
Sounds great (could have had a touch more bass).
I have a 4K monitor and played back thru YouTube on 1080.
Then I started lifting up the playback volume because your mix is very good. I got it good and loud and really enjoyed it.
All the best with your new album!

commonchild wroteThis is really good. That transition at 2:00 is flawless. I am not an expert on the genre, but this has an appealing vibe to it for me. The video is really well made, too.
Thank you so much for the really nice comment!
Bacco wroteNice tune and a nice mix, I enjoyed the hook very much. Congrats on the upcoming release.
Thank you so much, I really appreciate that you took the time to watch/listen.

Really solid: well-crafted songwriting, flawless musicianship and recording, very original blend of styles. You are very different than Evanescence but i always wondered why there weren't more hard rock bands fronted by women. This sounds like it has that kind of crossover appeal.
Good luck with the album!

Sorry for the really late reply, I somehow missed it...
Thank you so much for the compliments. Really appreciated!
