Hi, a rookie here. I have Studio 1-4 Artist running on Win7 with a usb connected Akai Advance 49. Trying to control either the mute or solo of each track (8 max) with the (8) buttons on the midi keyboard. I have both ends talking but I cannot get the Studio One end to latch on and off. It is acting like a press and release only. Is there a better way to accomplish this task? Thank you for your help. Mike

Hope this helps.

1) Open the console and select the External tab
2) Locate your midi controller and select edit from the drop down arrow
3) Select midi learn and press the buttons on your midi controller to add the buttons if they aren't already present. If they are, proceed to step 4.
4) With midi learn selected, right click on the corresponding buttons and change them from Button Press/Release to Button On/Off
