Hello,
Would it in principal hurt the V-Fire interface if one would use both FireWire power as well as the net adapter power simultaneously ? Thanks. Richard |
It shouldn't....but why would you need/want to? BTW....we can help you better now and in the future with a bit more info......if you will post your system specs in your signature, (see my sig), we will be better able to troubleshoot your problems. Without knowing what type of pc you're running, what OS you're using, what DAW etc....we often can't recommend a "simple fix".

Thanks Christofe for your kind response.
You are absolutely right that one just can't have enough relevant background information when it comes down to technical support situations. For now I just would like to know whether or not in principal one can apply both FireWire power as well as net adapter power to the V-Fire interface in particular, without overloading or damaging the device. Thanks again, Richard |
Should not hurt it in principal.
