It would be great to be able to more finely control the performance playback of dynamic hairpins.
I'd like to be able to define the "rate" at which the dynamic changes over the life of the hairpin using a curve graph. Please see the attached (very crappy) illustration... Kurt M. Landre' https://www.SoundCloud.com/kmlandre

Just thinking out loud here ... the drawings remind me of fade curves.
Like this, but on a hairpin: Having a group of curves to select from rather than a freeform edit function might be easier to implement and support. |
All good suggestions, but there seems to be a basic problem with hairpins in Notion 5 for Mac. In Notion 4 I used to be able to drag the hairpin ends between notes. Can't do that anymore. I don't know where to post bug problems. Hoping it gets some attention from an Admin here.

Hi Michael, the adjustable hairpin ends are working here on Mac - can you let us have more details or a score, and we can check. To report a bug, go though MyPreSonus where you can raise an issue. We do go through forum posts checking for issues too. -Chris

Better than nothing. pbeach wroteAnd It would be great to be able to assign a different CC to Hairpins You mean you want to send something else than "expression" with the hairpins, right? pbeach wroteAnd to disconnect hairpin CC's from CC sent with each note... I don't get it. You mean arbitrary CC like you can do with a MIDI editor? Masi |
