Is it true that all audio interfaces that uses the CCK with usb and that are core audio compliant are excluded for use with this capture software?

I think you have that backwards. Any device that can pass audio to the iPad can record in Capture for iPad.

Yes, but on the capture requirements it specifically says that a MFi audio interface is required. There are at least three persons reporting issues on other forums using the CCK but not with MFi. The same audio devices work with 'all the other' recording softwares. Is the CCK considered to be the MFi device in this case? I am currently unable to test this myself at the moment and I was about to pull the trigger on the full capture version when I got indications about this potential issue so I wanted to make sure that the CCK is supported.

Try with Capture Duo - it's free and will let you test with two tracks. If it works, it will work in Capture Mobile.

Just did a quick test and recorded a track with Capture Duo through an RME Fireface UCX connected via CCK to an iPad 3. So at least this combo works!
 Thanks for Capture Duo! Great to have a simple App to quickly capture ideas. (Even with just the internal mic of the iPad).

I've now tested it with my x32-rack with the x-usb card installed and it didn't work. Capture duo crashes as soon as I try to create a session. I'm currently unable to test it with the x-uf card.
