I want to share a MIDI file with a friend that has the same VST library but uses Logic. Is there a way to export the MIDI CC Data that I've recorded in my studio one session so that he can read it in Logic?

I just did a test, recording a midi clip in Studio One and applying mod wheel and pitch bend. I simply exported that and dragged that into Ableton and all that CC info was there.

Don't forget also that Logic is AAF compatible. You can save a complete Studio One song in AAF format and he should be able to import it directly into Logic. Midi files with CC messages and all.

Update on this issue in case any others are following:

MIDI CC Automation will be exported only if it is PART automation. It will not be exported if it is in an Automation Track for an Instrument.
