Hello,
I just recorded a guitar audio track but sadly can't hear anything when playing back the recording. Probably some settings are incorrect. I'm sending screenshots of the song setting along. sorry for a total newbie question. I hope this will be easy to answer for all of you and thanks in advance for your help. Best, Tido Sorry, it' the German version, but I hope you understand |
Welcome to the Forum!
I would need to see how your tracks are setup maybe. Your specs would also be good and your interface. The input panel looks like nothing is selected. See how your output looks or this panel:

You want to use your interface.
Like I say, I can't see where input 1 and input 2 are assigned and where the track uses that input for its input setting. https://s1manual.presonus.com/Content/S ... Device.htm https://s1manual.presonus.com/Content/S ... Output.htm https://s1manual.presonus.com/Content/R ... Tracks.htm

Like Tacman stated, there's not enough to go on to solve your question. However, you may want to verify a few simple things along the way.
First, when you record a track either by headphones through your Mac, or interface (preferably interface), make sure your track is record ready, and monitor ON when recording. Also verify as you record, that you see the waveform being generated on the track. That will ensure there is a print (recording) taking place on the track. If you have no print shown, even now with the track you're enquiring about, then you never actually recorded it. Hope that helps.

Hi Tacman7 and Lokeyfly,
I'm still having trouble to set up Studio One properly to record my guitar. I've connected the headphones to my AudioBox (and could hear sound before but not now). As you can see on the attachment I've clicked on the input channel and it turns blue however if I go back to check it turns to black, so I'm not sure whether this is set correctly. It seems I can not save this setting. On the song view I click on record and the button turns red (see attachment). Also I selected the Input from the trop down menu on the left. Sadly I can hear no sound and also nothing is printed on the track. What should I do to fix this? Thanks again. Best, Tido |
