This is a GREAT release! Purchased!
Studio One 5 has all I was expecting for my daily workflow: Listen Bus for monitoring through ARC, Sonarworks - I was expecting this from day One! Score editor (I already have Notion6 for well designed orchestrations but now this will improve and makes the things faster for daily scoring job during sessions ) Solo through Listen Bus - I was expecting this from day One! Key switches well done! Easy to use! And much more goodies! Congratulations Presonus!! |
For me, mixer scenes, notation editor, updated native plugins, and polyphonic Aftertouch are some things I’ve waited a long time for!

Here is a question. I have Melodyne Assistant 4. What happens to that if I upgrade to Studio One 5? Does it still work, or will I have to "downgrade" to Essential 5? I can't afford Assistant 5 just yet.

For everyone who's interested in the Show Page (no matter if you're live musician, electronic performer, if you make music for theater or just want to jam with some sounds and loops), I made a short video that shows what can be done with the new Show Page in Studio One 5.
Five ways to use the new Studio One Show Page

Just to say thank you for this fantastic update and I hope the Shop lets you in sooner rather than later as I have been trying for almost 3 Hours and still cannot carry out a purchase. LOL I will get there in the end.
Those who can't dance always blame the band.

LOL I will get there in the end. The Presonus servers must have reached a point of near-gridlock as users around the globe attempted to purchase S1 5 at the same time. It took quite a while to get in, and then a while longer for S1 5 to appear in my account. Patience is the operative word for the moment. Congratulations to all at Presonus for creating all of this excitement today.
