The update is great. However. When rebooting studio one I got this:

"fat channel collection volume one is not compatible with studio one"

And my P1B compressor and presonus free EQs and Compressors are no longer listed under fat channel modules.

Anyone else getting this...?

And then I tried reinstalling and rebooted it again and it worked. Weird. Anyway, I'm happy. Got my toys!

On another note. PEADALBOARD IS AWESOME. There are a ton of effects in there. Thanks, Presonus!

Ampire 3 is Awsome.
All the news State Space amps more than compete with the best amp sims on the market and the work good in LLM mode for low latency recording.

-MCM800 is a classic British high-gain amp  from the 80s
-VC30 is another classic British amp from the  70s,
-Blackface Twin is a legendary American  amplifier from 1965 with a killer spring reverb
-Dual Amplifier is a contemporary (2011)  Heavy Metal standard for high-gain sounds
-Amp STV is a legendary late-60s bass with a killer 8x10 STV cabinet

All the amps are sensitive enough for wide dynamic playing. My favorite for blues is either the Blackface cranked up, the MCM800 on the clean channel the Dual Amplifies on the cranked-up clean channel or the VS30 in the overdrive inputs.
The new cabinets and three different mic configuration can make a huge difference in the sound as well.
In terms of the new State Space Pedals, the Dreamer, Fat, MP 90 Phasor and the PAE chorus 1 are my favorite.

Oh and the new Tuner is nothing to sneeze at. The optional classic strobe is still one of the best ways to see the tuning throughout the stings envelope.

I can't wait for them to come out with a Compressor/ Sustainer pedal and although you can simply put the PreSonus gate in front of it, a built-in gate would be nice for the extreme gain presets.

Updates to Ampire? And a pedal board? Thank you!
All the other detail stuff, I'm sure I will appreciate in time.

I'm not very happy about the Pool Tab in my browser being pushed out of the view by the Shop and Cloud tabs. I'd really like to be able to make them go away or at least reorder them. Please.

The new Ampire & Pedalboard are nice but will the Metal XT pack be updated to be compatible or is it already folded in the new version? I noticed that it's not even listed on the site ATM (page not found).

Ampire is a M A J O R step forward. Thank you. Quality work for sure.

It is compatible and has new pedals but keeps the older amps. I would suggest creating better than versions with the news Dual Rectifier and MCM800

With version 4.6 several of our extensions have been updated. The easiest way to have everything back in sync is to go to Studio One > Studio One Extensions... and click on „Check for updates“. It will update all your installed Extensions to the latest version.

I sure hope the shop/cloud tabs can be disabled. Maybe in the advanced/modules section.

Also since apparently this is the last version to support windows 7 I hope you are considering a Linux build.

I use and love S1 because it is a decent, productive and stable DAW with solid fundamental utility plugins, not because of ampire and integrated "shop" features. Or for that matter, impact, or presence, or whathaveyou. Those sorts of things I would never use a DAW-specific non-portable plugin for. It says something that the "extended" "Everything you need to know about Studio one 4 6" video by studio one expert - just glosses past anything to do with *the DAW* and focuses entirely on Ampire.

The bug fixes are most appreciated. :+1 I really wish Presonus had "ESR" (Extended support release) based versions where bug-fixes were backported to major milestones, so that we are not always stuck with tradeoffs, and so that long standing bugs eventually get fixed.

I'm really excited for the pattern editor updates and the browser gallery view.

I really hope they allow you to get rid of the cloud and shop tabs like people are mentioning. I really don't want or need that in my browser.

Just ran into a little problem with the Browser...trying to navigate to any file under the file tab is giving me a crash dump report alert. S1 is not crashing though.
I closed and restarted S1 and it seems to be okay.
You were expecting us all to start reporting issues, right?
Appreciate you being here to help us out.
(If it happens again, I will do my best to recreate the event and give a more detailed description.)

Since I won't be home until late tonight, I'm just curious...do the changes to the pattern editor make it possible to create flams?
