Hi, I have recently bought a studiolive 32s. If I want to set a preset on my channel 3 (kick) I can’t get any kick presets because There are only empty locations. What do I do wrong?

Hi and welcome
 Something may have gone wrong with the firmware update. Repeat the process and see if that restores the presets. |

Problem solved. Did the firmware again. Thanks for your help

I have the same problem.
but even after several firmware updates i can still only see *Empty Location * on every preset... |

It's not the firmware upgrade, that brings back the presets, it's a "Firmware Revert". Here are the two relevant articles:

Tried it, it was actually not the Firmware Revert that solved the problem, but a Factory Reset. But thanks for pointing me in the right direction. The first link got me there, it states: "Reverting to the Factory Firmware Image does not erase and does not affect any of your User data like Scenes and Presets or other mixer settings that you have stored on the mixer. I want to include the fact that it my be the case that after performing a factory reset, that it might still not include the presets. I had to
Download Presets: - manually download the presets and put them in the assigned folder. https://support.presonus.com/hc/en-us/articles/360050575871-StudioLive-Series-III-Lost-Missing-PreSonus-FAT-Channel-Presets Factory reset: - then do the factory reset https://support.presonus.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001731123-StudioLive-Series-III-Console-Factory-Reset. Universal Control v3.6487069 did not work after factory reset.(I was using a Mac).  Update firmware: - I had to download the firmware to an SDCARD and from there update the firmware using the SDCARD. https://support.presonus.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000957983-StudioLive-Series-III-Console-Firmware-Update Universal Control: - Only after updating the firmware to the latest firmware update was I able to use the Universal Control and restore from the backup to get back my settings and having the presets back.  |
