Is there a way to change the default MIDI ports on the FaderPort V2?

I'm a keyboard player and I'm trying to use this with Mainstage 3. When I push buttons and move the slider, it's actually sending MIDI notes to Mainstage. My goal is to use this as a motorized Mod Wheel, which is used a lot in Mainstage to fade layers in/out. The reason for wanting it motorized, is that when you change patches for another song, it will restore the Fader to the bottom position.

Any help would be appreciated.
