Hey guys,
Here's another track from my latest project. Give it a listen when you get a chance. This one is a little more upbeat than the last few that I've posted with a slightly groovy drum intense bridge. Hope you enjoy.

cool driving tune,
but is begging for a vocal. as it is, would make a good 'credit roll' for the end of a deadpool movie.

Hey,
I'm open to letting someone try a shot at adding vocals to this or any of my instrumentals. Also, if you know anyone over at the Deadpool gang let them know you've found a song for the next movie Thanks for listening

Sounds good. I wish the guitar parts had more edge. Sounds like they are being side-chained with the kick so their first attack is mellowed. Maybe I need more coffee.
Would love a vocal on this. I can't sing this style or would offer to. |
Thanks for checking it out Bbd,
No guitars on this one. That's the 2nd time someone has thought I had guitars on a Constant Collision track. Yea, vocals would be nice, but I don't have much experience singing and don't know many singers in my area. If someone on the forum is interested in adding vocals to this or any of my tracks just let me know. I up for giving it a try.

I hear the synths now. First listen I had to play it back quietly and thought they were guitars.
Sounds good. |
Cool and heavy synth sounds and some nice drum work in the middle section. The mix sounds quite good, but i'd work a little bit on the arragement, as there are no vocals or a melody/lead guitar. Anyway, i enjoyed listening.

Oliver,
Thanks for checking it out and commenting. I initially wanted to add more instrumentation to this one but struggled to find the right sound or melody to do it. I think some vocals would be the best thing for it.

Black_Haus wroteThanks for checking it out Bbd, The song definitely has a vibe and a character. Here's an idea for a vocal: get a lyric soprano to sing vocalise over a couple of sections. I heard it done once in a tune sorta like this and it was great. I dig the extra long measures in the B section. Nice work |
Dongios,
Thanks for listening. Not surely exactly what you are thinking about but I believe just few we’ll placed vocals would make a big difference in this track. Your suggestion is appreciated. Thanks again

Now, this is the kind of Industrial song that you would hear in a Twisted Metal level.
Score: 10/10 First of all, it's been a while since I wrote a proper music review, so you will be the first. Instruments: That guitar-like synth was just plain metal, and I normally don't describe any synth sounds like that. Reminiscent of the Newgrounds artist Elfire back around 2006-2011. However, the real stars are the drums. You must have had a blast on the bass, snare, and cymbals. Composition and Arrangement: Did you have Twisted Metal or Mortal Kombat Deception on the brain while you were composing this? It definitely reminds me of them, and in a good way. I love a good, ominous Industrial song. Plus, the arrangement never wears out its welcome. Other: Also worth noting is that you paced this song well. Plus, the mixing and mastering are excellent. [+] Very ominous Original Nice mix between real drums and drum machine samples. The Riser Good arrangement [-] The fact that there's a demand for a vocal version. Overall: Here's a ten from me. |
Wow!
Thank you very much for the positive review. It’s much appreciated. I remember Mortal Kombat from way back in the day but haven’t played those games in many years. This one just sort of came together from playing around with that synth patch The bridge section (drum fills) part came from listening to “One Day as A Lion” Yes the drums where fun. This is a combination of EZ Drummer 2 & Battery 4. I love both of them. If you know others that might like this type of music please share it with them. I don’t usually think of metal when synths are involved either but your not the first person to call this one metal. Cheers

this is fire.
high energy, with so many different sounds to pick up on, and everything sounds blended together so well. something in the background, kind of sounds like a low static, or a constant cheer, sounds SO good almost like a glue to the whole thing. love this. bandcamp: https://common-child.bandcamp.com soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/commonchild |
I'm glad you liked this so much commonchild,
It was one of my favorites on of the project as well. The "constant static" sound your referring to is probably coming from the main distorted synth patch. On the Pro EQ it covered the entire frequency range. I did end up cutting out some of the low end to make room for some sub bass but the fuzzy distortion is still there.
