Hey guys,
I’m looking into getting a tube mic preamp. Most likely the ART Pro MPA II. How would I go about connecting this to my Firestudio Project interface? I’ve watched a few videos and read some articles on the subject but would like to hear from someone here that has used it with this interface. Thanks in advance

Balanced out on the preamp to any channel 3-8 on the FSP. Use a 1/4" trs to trs. inputs 3-8 on the FSP will bypass the gain stage on the FSP when you use a 1/4" connection.

Matthew,
Thank you for the reply. Can I also use the "returns" 1 & 2 on the back of the unit? The manual states that "Their gain structure is identical to the ¼” inputs for channels 3-8 and are typically used for signals not requiring preamplification" Just want to make sure I don't screw anything up.

you can take the returns of channels 1+2 . Works as expected.
