Just got back into my Studio One after several years down in the Baja (Rosarito), and I am implementing the 'KISS' rule into all my new tunes from now on. I used to not be happy unless my songs had 15 or more stems but my new goal is keep it under 5 total. I'm not a pro by any means, just a songwriter who tries to record. I didn't know how much I missed having my Studio One. Anyway, feedback on my first try in a while will be welcome. Thanks for listening.

awww man...this is really good. the melody hits me in the heart, and the message is on point. reminds me so much of the classic love songs my mom used to listen to. thanks for sharing.

Really nice job Rick. I like the song and over arrangement.
You could use some bass guitar! It's in there sort of but on my system, I can't really make it out.
The mids and highs are really nice.
I like your voice too.
Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the inputs, should have known better than to do a headphone mix. Nice to be back and thanks again.

Heartfelt and a very personal song. Nicely done. I like your voice too, honest and not overdone.
