Hello,

Is it possible to show inserts on the track, sort of like ProTools does it (see image)?

Not specifically where your outline is.
But if you press F4, that will open the Inspector and show the inserts, plus much more info. ;)

Pro Tools track view is essentially a mixer as well allowing for the view of inserts and sends. Note how even it's metering is identical to its mixers metering.

This is not the case in Studio One, as those items are found in its mixer, or Track Inspector (single channel mixer info).

It's just the architecture is all. There are Pros, and Cons to both. Give it time, and you will get used to Studio One's Mixer for such things, where tracks can be assigned to mixer channels extremely easy (very familiar with both).

I'm quite proficient in S1, but waited to upgrade to 4, so I'm still checking out the new features and thought I'd ask about this. It's not critical, but would be nice to have for an overall view of things happening in the arrange view, which is where I spend most of my time, even during mixing. I think the mixer window has almost become redundant for me personally. We all have our workflow and this little tweak would be nice for people like me, if it could be implemented :)
