Hey Todd. Here's my comment first w/o listening.
How could you do wrong? But maybe you did. Let's see..... |
Great ideas! Really cool arrangement.
Sonically: I love bottom. If you keep it the way it is, need some mids and highs. Maybe, -2db 50Hz, +4db 4K (?), +3 12K (?) Round it out with a master out compressor/limiter and just get the +2db peaks. Hope your're liking S1V4! |
Not what I expect from a first effort, sounds really rich!
Great mix of styles and cool melodies. Mix wise it could maybe use a bit more midrange. I like that solo sound at 1:40. Sounds like you mixed a distorted sound with a very compressed clean one. Cool! Sam.

Good ears Sam, that's exactly what I did with the guitar. Distorted on one channel and clean/compressed on the other. Thanks for listening.

great first effort. this is a cool blend of energies... the way the instruments come together takes the track in a different direction than I expected at the beginning. I like it a lot. I listened to your other tracks, and really Shoreline too. Thanks for sharing.
