I've already updated to the UniversalControl-v49805 and my mac os version is 10.13.2. i found that my Preset +/- button doesn't latch, i have to hold it down to scroll through presets. In the vids i've seen they hit the preset button then use the up down buttons to load presets and are able to hit the pads with their left hand to test the sounds because the Preset +/- button stays latched. Did something change with the Universal Control Update? also am i the only one experiencing this?

I don't think this is fixed in Windows at least.

According to manual page 19.

"When the Instrument plug-in window is open, you can quickly change presets by pressing Preset +/- button. Press and hold for momentary. Press and release to latch.
While holding the Preset +/- button, use the Up and Down buttons to audition presets. To select the current preset, simply disengage the Preset +/- button."

Well I cannot get it to latch.

Not only that, hold preset +/- sometimes changes the sound (first few goes maybe), and sometimes it does not. Often Studio One loses Focus elsewhere. Very frustrating! This is key functionality I expect from a controller.

Agreed. The Preset button will then light up. Then use the Up/Down buttons.

Okay the trick is: HOLD AND Press the "Preset+/-" button,
than press Shift while holding "Preset+/-"
AND than RELEASE the "Preset+/-" button FIRST!

Thanks very much for this.

I have to say I really don't like this as a combination. I shall just have to print out the diagram (thanks for this) until it sticks.

And what a pity the dial does not work as well as the up and down buttons for this!
