Trying to work with Console Buss/Folders for a 16-channel BFD template but only the main instrument channel is included in the Console Folder - the remaining 15 channels remain visible outside of the Folder.
I am assuming it's because I can't include them in the Arrange View. Is there a way to include these Channels in the Console Folder or view these Instrument Channels in the Arrange View ?

You'll have to create 16 tracks for your 16 channel BFD and assign each channel to the corresponding outputs. Then nest those tracks under a folder. I have the first 16 pads on Impact XT routed to 16 tracks respectively as shown in the gif. Which allows me to nest those tracks under a folder and collapse them all together. |
I would add to what snb is saying with one additional step
The audio channels in the console are created when you activate them from inside the plugin, left of center at the top. Picture in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=151&t=33156&p=192110#p192110

Unfortunately all solutions are a bit clunky and we aren't allowed to drag channels from multi channels Instruments freely around in our songs.
That being said, as an alternative on @snb1 you can also use automation/envelope tracks instead of instrument tracks. |
First off, thank you to snb1 and Tacman7 - there is no way I would have figured this out on my own!
As niles said above, the solutions are "clunky" to say the least. Not sure if all were user errors, but it took me well over 2 hours just to do BFD, StylusRMX and Machine2. If nothing else, it all looks neat and tidy! |
