Another track I did with my band. All done in Studio One 2 with all stock plugins.
This was the one of the last songs we did on this project. Yes, there is a long guitar solo. I actually played Bass on the first section of the solo as well. Yay me! https://youtu.be/kckjO6JWI2k [video][https://youtu.be/kckjO6JWI2k/video]

A cool energetic tune, reminds me somehow of 'TOOL' - i like your the sound of your guitar in particular. There is room to enhance the mix, but this is all matter of taste. Thanks for posting.

ZZ,
Thanks for listening. This was my first time recording a a full band and it was a learning experience. The Bass is actually more prominent on this track than some of the others we did. I struggled a bit with the balance between the Kick & Bass on most of the tracks. I may remix some of these tracks one day, but for now I've moved on to creating new songs. Oliver P. Thanks for listening. Our Bass player as well as the rest of us are big fans of "Tool". The guitar sounds on this one came mostly from Ampire and a blend of my Marshall/ADA rig.

I hear a bit of King's X in here.
I would personally like to hear a little more drums, specifically, more space around the drums. Of course, I'm a drummer, so I probably tend to mix them a bit hot. Overall good energy. Glad to hear an aggressive vocal that isn't screaming. There are a few spots where I might stick more to a defined melody - "No more cannot take this" etc. Solo section change to half-time feel and then move back to regular timing is pretty cool. Solo is nice and clear. Distortion on the guitar has a good clarity but still has fuzz around it. Surprised that this is "mostly" Ampire. Also nice to hear that you stayed with all stock plugins. Nice job.
Drummer and Singer mostly with some limited Guitar/Bass/Keys and a love for tech.

Thanks Blades I really appreciate the listen and comments,
Your not the only person to say that about the drums. The use of only the stock plugins was sort of intentional and also because I didn't really have anything else at the time. If I remember correctly the solo section is actually all Ampire and the rest is a blend mic'd cab with Ampire
