Hey Gang,
I'm just going through my manual with a fine-tooth comb looking for little items that I may have missed. On page 17 for my 1818VSL it clearly states I should have a 3rd pc. of s'ware Virtual StudioLive, but when I go to the Support/Download page there's no such animal. All this time I was thinking that all the VSL "magic" was in the FAT Ch. plugin, but I've checked all through the entire menu in SO3.5 Artist and there's no such animal, and it's clear the plugin is NOT what they are speaking of. So,l where is this elusive creature? |
If you are willing to forgo Universal Control you can use the last supported version of VSL implementation found for your 1818 on the product page in your account.

Thanks Skip. So, does that mean I can't use the FaderPort8 either? Do I have to uninstall Univ. Control? Now, if I keep the Universal Control how do I know the SPDIF & ADAT are working? Finally, do I have to have 2 cables for each of those formats for in and out? I thought that's what the USB was for. So, the signal would go OUT the ADAT of my keyboard, INTO the ADAT on the 1818 then back out to the DAW/PC. Correct?
Thanks, GPL |
