I found a work around to this problem.
Go to Settings, Score setup, Guitar, Name then Abreviation

Delete the whole name and abbreviation then put in one blank space.
The label is no longer there, except for a blank space.

If you blank out the whole name this doesn’t work.

This is especially handy if doing a solo arrangement.
