Hi all,
Can someone suggest how I can get OBS to hear the output of my DAW (cakewalk) while talking into mic 1? It seems OBS is only capturing my mic and not the output of the DAW. |
OBS does not support ASIO so the trick is configuring Cakewalk to use USB channels 1 & 2 on the 192 for it's outputs. USB channels 1 & 2 of the 192 driver provides WDM support which OBS supports and why your microphone works currently.

ojgibbins wroteHi all, It's super easy, you just use the free plugin Voxengo Recorder. Put that on your master and output to some other random audio device on your pc, like "realtek" or whatever they are called. Then you just use that as your "desktop sound" inside OBS. There are a bunch of tutorials for this on Youtube. What I can't do though, is using my mic in OBS while I have Studio One running. How did you manage that? I first open OBS and my mic work fine, no problem. But when I open up Studio One, the mic stops working in OBS. Like Studio one is the only thing that can use the mic. How did you go around that issue? |
Disable "Exclusive Mode" on all your audio devices.
