Hello everybody !

I'm in the final stages of composing music for a dance show, and I take the opportunity to make a screenshot of a draft piece for this show, made with the Notion 6 software and the Cinematic Studio Strings and Cinematic Studio Solo Strings presets I created for Notion.

Here's the video, to give you another example of how it sounds on Notion:

A very evocative and well realised piece of music Matthieu... the ebb, flow , orchestration and atmsosphere are flawless.it kept my interest the entire time.

Are the strings at bar 16 harmonics?
I loved the strings coming in at bar 38.

My only minor suggestion for improvement would be to vary the intro piano dynamics - maybe lower the dynamics a little every second bar to humanise the playing? i

Great work and thank you for sharing,

Rudi

Thank you very much for your kind words Rudi !

The strings are in harmonics at bar 16, but it’s not a very good orchestration/accompaniement choice obviously (I’ve done it quickly and I’ve not put many compositional thoughts and efforts before bar 38) !

Yes you are right, I am looking for a way to have the piano a little bit more humanized without to have to edit a lot in Notion. I already have a solution that works wonderfully well with the Hans Zimmer Percussion presets that I will share soon, but for the piano I need to think about it a little more :)
