Recording in final stages of single release.

Recorded using Spitfire Chamber Strings with Spitfire Solo Strings as first chairs, and Virharmonic Bohemian Violin solo. Transcribed to Notion and exported to Studio One for final fine tuning (adjustment of note lengths, volume automation, vibrato automation, dynamics and expression automation for each instrument, 18 in all) and addition of reverb and mastering effects.

Let me know what you think!

Another beautiful rendition! The strings are perfectly balanced - I could almost picture the 'players' playing in chamber ensemble.

Thank you for sharing,

Rudi

PS a few specific notes:

0:30 beautiful solo violin sound

0:59 great low strings sound - they felt rosiny, woody and warm

1:45 great dynamics here - giving a sense of the piece being played live

2:42 very poignant and elegiac moment

4:06 very powerful cresc. and ebbing away

4:48 excellent balance between the lead instrument and the rest of the ensemble

4:36 very well judged and realised glissendos

6:20 likewise, nice and subtle pizzicatos

7:13 excellent decrease in dynamics right to the end

Rudi, thanks so much for your detailed listening. I get very little feedback on the music I release, so it's very nice to know that my efforts are appreciated!

Hope you have a great New Year!

Michael
