chrismarshall2 wroteIs there a Coffee House section in these forums? There is the "off topic" forum here, however I suspect some Sonar users may want to deprogram and detox themselves here first, as a half way house, before they set free into the broader and more fertile world : http://beyondcakewalk.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?fid=5

Not sure why you would do that.
In S1 loop and punch in marks are the same thing so there is no exact equivalent. Was just mentioning the ability to pre roll and then stop and return to the original point.

Hi. I am also a long time SONAR user, that bought Studio One Pro yesterday.
I'd like to thank for the welcome I've seen been given to us coming from the "other side" I'll do my best to read up on guidelines, and the manual, but will likely have some noob questions as I get stuck. All the best.

As called out in the OP, there are differences between S1and SP and actually, many Cakewalk people have already migrated here over the last six years.
Here are a few of the Sonar like FRs more commonly called. New Sonar people please add your votes: Mix Snapshot/Recall: http://answers.presonus.com/3073/mix-snapshots Track Templates: http://answers.presonus.com/3937/track- ... -for-audio

cpowell wroteAnother former SONAR here: There's a feature request for this. Drives me nuts that I can't just loop and record a few takes of a guitar solo with a lead in for each take. Hoping for this in a future release. Here's the FR (I encourage anyone who'd like to see this to vote it up): http://answers.presonus.com/2804/featur ... 2804#q2804

I am mixing a song for a cover band called Liquid Blue and they have some MIDI tracks along with the audio. I am getting sounds during the mix, but I can't any sound after I "Mixdown." I right-clicked and selected "Transform to audio" but it still doesn't work.
I know I must be missing something simple... |
Also I tried to load an avatar for this forum. I am told to go to mypresonus.com or something. I do that and I put in an avatar there but it doesn't show up here in my posts. Man, I haven't felt this stupid in a long time...
