Its ok to get frustrated in something that seems to defy logic. Glad you are getting it sorted out. Good luck. |
Well got my computer back from the Apple Store. Now I have two devices that are malfunctioning. Haha you have to laugh. I reinstalled from my Time Capsule. I am back to just the Fadeport error.

Well I have to be man enough to admit fault. Every thing is working, truthfully I didn't even realize when it happened. The faderport 8 is a great piece of hardware and I am happy to own it and be a Presonus customer.
Man, humble pie is not my favorite food. PS Praise God!! I'm glad to have my faderport 8 working🤡

niclasgustafsson1 wroteFrank.crow what was the problem? I have the same issues. Dont know yet if the high sierra fixed it since its very random. Some days it works fine and sometimes its unusable... I would get an error dialogue box shortly after startup. The software was having trouble communicating with the hardware which resulted in latency in the DAW. Previously this error would self correct but at the time of the post it was persistent. I went through lots of hoops if you've had a chance to read this thread. High Sierra made it worse, but the error was still present on Sierra. I never did find out the root problem. I will tell you this though, right now I'm using this powered USB hub by Sabrient that lets me switch between all of my MIDI devices with just a click of a button. Kind of a cool insurance policy.
