Hi,
I am hearing this typical USB ground loop humming and buzzing on my monitors. It get stronger, when I move my mouse or the PC starts increasing operations. My setup: AudioBox 22VSL PC, using the USB 2.0 port on the back in the mainboard M-Audio Monitors I have tried to use a USB isolator (https://www.amazon.de/ISAR520-Isolator- ... b+isolator) It it makes the noise less, but doesnt eliminate it. Also it causes a loud continuous beep from the mic instead, so I had to remove it again. When I use this setup with my laptop instead of the PC it is perfectly silent. I have also tried plugging in the Monitor power cords into different wall outlets, but it didn't help. I guess they are still on the same network. I have also tried different powered USB hubs without noticing any difference. Please, help me solve this. I am out of ideas. Thanks |
It definitely will help. Depending on the connections on the speakers, you will need trs on one end to connect to the AB 22. For the speaker end, that could be xlr male, or also trs.
In pro audio applications, a 1/4" trs connection is balanced mono, not stereo. Stereo is usually going to involve 2 channels. |
