Okay, I'm old but truing to record my band, how can I use Studio One 3.0 to record live show or jam..

Hi and welcome :)

To start with you need some recording hardware like an audio interface, microphones, cables and stands. And a capable computer/laptop of course.

It would help to let us know what you have and what your band looks like. Makes giving good advice a lot easier :)

What I have is :
Audio Box interface, A windows 10 I5,
Band is a 3 man front
Guitar=2 (1 acoustic, 1 electric both amped)
Bass
Fiddle
3 Vocals,
Running through Yamaha MG61XU

Which model AudioBox? If it's a 2x2 interface then you may as well use the Yamaha's USB interface to record from. If a stereo recording is all you need then that's what I would do.

If your AudioBox has more than 2 inputs and you want to record more channels than just a stereo mix then you have to become creative. Options are to feed more outputs from the Yamaha into the AudioBox or to split microphones to the AudioBox too.
