hi everyone, we would to going reamp process so I've recorded as usual an instrument track directly in my input 1 of studio 192. so I've the DI signal of guitar recorded, now I would to send it to my marshall amplifier and then record the cab with a sm57 mic. the problem is that when I assign the output of the DI signal to "line out1" or other line out, there is no signal, so no sound.
how can I do to solve this issue?

Can you post a screen shot of the routing on the mixer fader, and also the output matrix in song setup? Are you using a template for the 192 for the song?

Also just making sure, we are talking about the Studio 192 and not the 192 mobile, correct?

Ok. So assuming that the return signal is plugged into Mic 2 jack, there are a couple things to check.

I don't see monitoring on for the channel you are trying to record, so make sure that is on when recording. Second, make sure the output fader is at unity in studio one. Then you need to go in to UC Surface, and make sure the output fader is at unity there. Also make sure that you have signal all the way through the path, from output to input channel, and that the preamp is set properly on the input channel.

Just going by the pictures you posted, so I have no way to know what is going on other than that. The preamp set to zero on the input channel may have something to do with it.

Is the unit passing audio at all?

I can hear the guitar sound from the uc surface (DI Guitar)...all work at the main output, only the line outputs don't send any signal

"*** NOTE: Leave Speaker Management to OFF. If you select any other choice and "then" back to OFF, this will "MUTE" Mix 1/2 and Mix 3/4, which could explain why your Line Outputs 1-4 will not pass audio."

This could of been your issue. StudioOne uses "Mix 1/2 and Mix 3/4" as line out 1 - 4. As a test, use Line 5 as the out and test. This should fix your issue. If you need to use line out 1 - 4 you'll need to verify they are not muted in Universal control and assigned. I know this is a old thread but the post came up via google and hope anyone else having the issue will attempt this as a solution.
