No. The Firepod/FP10 has been discontinued for MANY years. There are not and will not be drivers that support any OS past Mac 10.7 or Win7.

Thank you very much for your response. May I ask you where you heard this information? I bought 2 Firepods 3 months, ago. Wasted $500.00?

First off....that's way too much for 2 Firepods. I've bought several for around $100 on eBay.
Secondly, anytime you buy very old used equipment you should ALWAYS check to make sure
it's compatible with your current equipment BEFORE making the purchase. That being said, if you want to use your Firepods there are THOUSANDS of used computers for cheap on eBay that will work just fine with your Firepods.

Hi all

I have an issue with my FP10 which used to run smoothly but is no longer recognized.

I used it on a macbook (i7, 8Go RAM, SSD, OS 10.7.5) and it works properly as well as on a imac 27 (I7 3.4 Ghz, 32Go Ram, SSD, OS 10.11.6).
I had no trouble at all to set up the FP10. just plugged in the wire, the led lights on blue, open reaper, select FP10 as hardware output and.... rock on!

But yesterday i had an issue. As i plugged it on, it was not recognized anymore, the led was red, tried to reboot the system, the fp10.... nothing changed. the same issue happens both on the imac and the macbook.

Any ideas??

Thanks!

Actually it says on that page "Mac OS X 10.3.7 or later (10.4.11, 10.5.2 or later, or 10.6 recommended)"

So it infers ("or later") that newer versions of OSX will work. Are you sure you don't want to update that page and the way it reads? I almost bought one this week because of the way that was worded.

I'd suggest you state explicitly that it is not supported after a particular OS version for both Mac and Win.

And also have a page with a matrix list of all interfaces and their limits if you don't already. If there is, what is the link for reference? Thanks.

It is, in fact, explicitly stated on the FP10's product page:

http://www.presonus.com/products/FP10/downloads

Current Mac® Software Downloads

FP10 Installer v5.13 - Mac
Control Panel for FP10 supports Mac OSX 10.3.7 - 10.7 Lion, OSX 10.8 Mt. Lion is NOT supported. (Please note: no driver installation is necessary for Mac users)

Control Panel with Monitor Mixer for FP10 and Firepod supports Windows 7, Vista, XP. (32-bit and 64-bit compatibility for all listed Windows versions)
