I'm knew at this, and am trying to follow steps in Help file:

1. Create a stereo output, and assign it as a Cue Mix. Done.
2. Assign a valid input to a track. Done.
3. Notice the Cue Mix object in the lower panel. Done

"Each Cue Mix object features an Activate button, horizontal level and pan faders, and a Lock to Channel button. When using a PreSonus AudioBox VSL or FireStudio-series interface, on Audio Channels with an assigned audio input, the Cue Mix object also features a Zero Latency switch, the function of which is described below."

That Zero Latency switch is not appearing.

It says that I should see a Z icon under the FireStudio Project box on the start screen, but there is no Z icon. But the literature clearly states that the Project has Zero Latency monitoring capabilities.

“Z “Monitoring or Zero Latency is supported as of Studio One 2.6+ on the following interfaces:
Hardware Interfaces
• FireStudio Mobile, Project
• AudioBox 22VSL, 44VSL, 1818VSL, 192 Studio
• Any 3rd party ASIO 2.0 DM interface device (Windows Platform Only)

How do you know if you have Zero Monitoring Capabilities
1) You will see a “Z” underneath the hardware interface icon on the start page.

PLEASE someone help.

Make sure you are on the latest version of Uc, 1.7.2. Then make sure uc is opened before opening s1, and see if that gets you there

Man! UC wasn't running. When I went to launch it it came back with an error. Three reboots and 2 reinstalls later, it is now working, and I have the Z icon! Thanks a bunch.

Now let me research what the heck the UC is used for. Seems redundant.

It is redundant if you record in Studio One. Most controls will be there.

I'm experiencing the same issue. With UC open, there is zero latency with fire studio project. When i open Studio One v3, the latency is present whether UC is open or not. Can someone post a screen of where the little "Z" lives in studio one that supposedly shuts off latency? I cannot seem to find it.
Thanks and cheers!

You need to have outputs designated as a cue mix for the button to show up. If the main out is designated as a cue, the z shows up on the fader. Any other outputs, the z will show up on the send for that output.
