Set it up like this:

That way the Fader follows the selection in logic and you dont have to use the Channel Selector buttons

To the OP, I feel your pain, I really do; however, you're incorrect about people leaving Protools for Logic in droves. Actually Logic's user base is in decline. I'm sure some people still do, but I don't think Presonus really cares to be honest. Logic has fallen far behind the curve, and Presonus is going to focus on their own software before worrying about Logic. Studio One 3 is their priority, then PT's, then Cubase, then...maybe logic? It doesn't look like it though. I use Studio One 3 and Ableton Live 9 (left pt, and logic years ago) and I'm still having issues, so the grass isn't always greener. Good luck.

I just purchased Faderpro today, it's been over 6 hours of fussing and a trip back to the store to get a replacement because I couldn't believe that the product would not install with Logic Pro X. After fighting traffic, twice, getting back to the studio, unboxing the new and finding out it still would not install... There was a video on YouTube with a British accent that had some success installing but yet it was only after I gave up and fixed dinner and came back to try again that now I have about 50% of the buttons work. The fader works so that is promising... There is no customer support online, and these forums were my only hope and now I see everyone else is having the same problems. If only the manufacturer would provide customer support on installs, not the endless trial and error prone endless solutions on the main site. Pardon me, I am tired, I did find a phone number on the box that I will call tomorrow an maybe, just maybe there will be someone in technical support that can help me on the phone to get it installed and working as it should.

It promises to be a great product, but the support angle is very poor so far...

There is described how to fix touch and read, the rest of teh buttons can be learned.

But I totally agree, the ootb support totally suxx and what is wrong with the pad knob, sometimes it moves fast sometimes slow.

Issues with Logic Pro X and FaderPort were resolved with the release of FaderPort 1.4.1 available on our download page:

doesn't work for me at all,

Installation gave no issues but when I set it up like this
Image

It doesn't worked at all.

Then I brought it to the studio of a friend which use Studio One.
There it worked even with Motor support, bu the first time the motor seamed to work agains each movement. odd.
After some time that oddity stopped and it was working as expected.

Back at home I tried it again with Logic, now I could use the Fader to move Logics Faders, but NO Motor ! When I move a fader in logic the Faderport do not follow.

After that I tried removing it completely from Logic and tried automatic installation.
This worked... until next start of logic where it was broken again ...

Is there a way to do a Factory reset ?
