How do I assign the fader to control only the master volume and not individual track volume?

Push the Master button which is located under the blue rotary encoder. The rotary encoder now becomes a master volume control. Push it and it resets to unity gain as well. Faders will need to be mapped to the master fader if you really want a fader to do it.
