For any FaderPort owners who game you may be interested in trying faderport-to-game8 which will allow you to use your FaderPort as an 8 axes, 16 button game controller.

No guarantees, but it works fine for me.

Windows 7 or later.

An update has been released and now you can control multiple axes at the same time by holding down the relevant axis select buttons.

Hi John,
This would be very useful for me. However I am getting the following error when running "python faderport-to-game8.py":
OSERROR: [Winerror 193] is not a valid Win32 application.

Is there an easy fix for this?
Many thanks.

A quick fix - probably not I'm afraid. I haven't used or updated this in years and much has changed sine then. E.g. I notice that the link to vJoy that was originally used, no longer works, but...

Have you got a working vJoy installation?
Are you able to run vJoyConf ?
Have you got a working python installation (3.6 or newer)?
Have you installed the faderport python module?

What happens when you open a python shell and enter:
Code: Select all
from faderport import test
test
