hi all
just a quick enquiry to ask if there is an advantage in using faderport to control studio one pro 3.5, over and above the CS18 (which i am soon to receive) i have seen several references to limitations of the CS18 in this regard......thoughts please?? ps i mostly need the CS18 to relieve my tennis elbow from mouse action while mixing....... cheers jb |
I have the CS, but not the faderport. Not sure of the limitations you are referencing, I like using it. Its semi retired right now since I got a Series 3 mixer. Maybe the comments of limitations are comparing the Series 3 to the CS? In that case, the Series 3 does have more features due to the hardware differences.

thnx matthew
since i dont really need much recording capability i get by with a focusrite saffire card and an expansion input rack...i can record stright into DAW with reasonable preamps and fatchannel on st 1 inputs if needed..so it is mainly for mixing. it was just something johnny geib mentioned about controlling folders and mixes etc..... but maybe it was about REMOTE??? |
