Hi there!

I have a couple of situations with my FaderPort...
I just got it, and tried it out using StudioOne 2 Pro and Cubase 7.5 on W8.

It was properly installed (I followed all the suggestions in the manual and the forums), tried installing 1.2 firmware, and 1.35, than 1.38.... but still no luck
It is connected to a power source (I've tried several adapters, and they are in order).

S1 recognized it without problems, and all the functions seem to be in order except the motorized fader. It does not move at all. Sure, I can write automation with it, but it does't read any information.

Cubase 7.5 won't recognize it and it does not appear in the device list.
I see it as MIDI in and out device, but when I try to add it as a control surface, no sign of it there.
.
It is hard for me to suspect a faulty motor or the fader itself, since the unit was not used before and since it is actually ''working'' - writing information.

If you have any suggestions, please let me know.
Thanks!

Truth be known mine worked great and then stopped. Now I can use the control to stop start, etc. but as you said not functioning in automation like it did. It stopped once before. I noticed in my Studio 1Pro 2 64 that the ports were not selected at boot up. in and out were set at none. What is the correct setting in Studio One?
Windows7 64 bit
i5 chip.
Had to replace my failed Focusrite Scarlett 2i4. Worked great with old model. Does rolling back to driver version 1.3.3 fix the issue? If so where can we download the driver?
Help! :(

I still did not manage to make it work.

Today I even received a brand new power supply, but still no luck.

I tried installing firmware versions 1.2 and 1.3.8.....

Help, anyone ? :(

Same problem here. The motor worked fine. I changed my desk so all connections like USB were disconnected and reconnected not necessarily in the exact same way. Now no motorized function. All else works. Using Studio One v2.6.
