I have just bought a second handed faderport and the motorized fader does not seem to work. Everything else seems to work but the fader does not move when I click on different tracks with diffrent volume levels or when i read automation playing back a track.
I have tried to upgrade the firmware to the latest version i could find. Is 1.3.8. the last version? The seller says that it used to work fine with S1 v2.6. Any ideas for me to test? Thank you in advance!

I have experimented a lot and finally I found a solution. Obviously my rather new MBP with thunderbolt could not be used to upgrade the firmware to 1.3.8 that is needed for the motorised faders to work. I needed to use my wife's older MBP to update the firmware then everything worked.... It says in the documentation that no USB3 controllers can be in use for the upgrade to work and I normally connect my mixer via firewire though a Belkin thunderbolt to USB3 and Firewire converter.
