My FaderPort's motorized fader was working on my old computer (Macbook Pro with Mountain Lion), but after switching to a Mac Mini with Yosemite it has stopped working. I tried to update the firmware, but I got the message saying it's already up to date. The FaderPort works find to control S1, but the motorized fader just isn't working.

Any ideas?

Is the power supply plugged in? That is the main reason I have seen for the motorized fader not working.

Yes. I've checked all of the "normal" things. The power supply is plugged in, the firmware is updated (and I updated it again just for good measure), the "Off" button for the Fader is not pressed on the device.

I'm starting to think it's just broken which would be a shame because I haven't had it that long and I don't use it that much.

What firmware are you on? I have seen users with better success on a mac using the older firmware.

The latest 1.3.5. How can I get the older firmware?

Thanks for all your help. It turns out I did not have the latest firmware installed. I found 1.3.8 in the Knowledgebase, but the one that's listed on the "Downloads" page for the Faderport is 1.3.5. I was going with the one I found on the downloads page.

It's working now!
