yes the fader on the faderport thats why I posted in the faderport section :+1 . it works fine as a motorized fader if i move a fader instudio one with my mouse it works as it should but if I grab the fader on the faderport it's like sticky.

I noticed tonight the the little right hand arrow or triangle on the midi icon flashes at a consistent rate . my faderport fader sticks when this light blinks

This usually indicates the track is in Read mode. Turn put it in touch mode and write some automation and see if it still sticks.

This is just the first thing to try.

I deleted the faderport from studio one options menu . And deleted the faderport driver from the device manager. then shut down the win 7 pc . unpluged the faderport from the usb and power . power cycled the pc on then off . reconnected the faderport . started the pc back up opened studio one . faderport auto installed as it should and all work smoothly again

Hi,

I too have same problem with faderport since I moved to S1-V3 (fader keeps getting stuck in all modes)

Just tried to uninstall from my system and reinstall but no success. Hope someone will work it out as it's very annoying.

turns out the sticky fader for me anyway was related to the touch sensitive feature ie if i pushed down hard on the fader it worked smoothly. so I took it apart took the fader out bent the little tabs that hold the fader together . cleaned all the contacts .(be very carefull they are small and very delicate. I bent the contacts up slightly so as to make better contact . cleaned everything with alcohol. re assembled the fader rebent the little tabs that hold it all together . re installed in the faderport . reconnected and I have a smooth non sticking fader now .
