Well I bought it directly from Presonus and it is a refurbished unit, SO I guess it's my fault for believing the disclaimer that says this unit is 100% like new. Well if it's like new then stay away.
With nothing plugged into this except for power this unit makes noise like a record player needle across a record player platter without a record on it.
Also my quick start guide that was inside the box was for a T8. And it had a different serial number on it.

I am going to be nice for right now. But realize that someone at the QC shop must be put on time out!

Open a support ticket. I have purchased b stock direct from Presonus with no issue. The T10 should not be making any noise with no source. If an unbalanced signal is plugged in it would. If its faulty they will correct the issue.

Remember, this is a user forum. For official resolution to an issue, a support ticket is the proper channel.

I just got a little mad because I had to tell my client not to bother coming over due to this set back. I thought I was saving money but in the long run I'm loosing money.
Hopefully Presonus will do the right thing. Lesson learned.
I will probably buy a sub from a local shop and spend a lot of time SMAART ing my system.
