HP2 Distorted Sound??

Was wondering if anyone has experienced a distorted sound when using the HP2 head phone amp. Was playin a live gig tonight and went out of the post fader monitor out into the HP2. Could the fact that it’s post fader have what to do with it?

I have a theory.
1- The signal from the board to my HP2 was already amplified. So perhaps the signal was too hot for the HP2 to handle ie. going from one amplifier to the next.

You are right. You should be sending prefader. Probably overloaded the input on the hp2
