No audio in Passive E4.5 speakers, aux and through Audiobox

Just purchased my new speakers and there is no audio coming out of the right (passive) speaker. I thought it was my audiobox so I tried the aux in and still am not getting audio. I tried readjusting the bare cables with no luck. Not sure if I should take them back or contact support.
Any ideas?
